We report a nitrogen-doped three-dimensional carbon network (NCW) for a high-performance supercapacitor. We overcame the crucial rGO stacking problem during the hydrothermal process by using activated CNTs and g-C3N4 with functional groups to react with rGO sheets, all of which create a well-organized carbon network. Our NCW on graphite electrode achieved a very high capacitance of 338 F/g at 1 A/g in a three-electrode system. Especially, almost 100 % of capacitance retention was achieved after 30,000 cycles, indicating good structural stability. Also, a symmetric coin cell with NCW exhibited a great energy density of 21.5 Wh/kg at a power density of 696.5 W/kg, allowing for operating the multi-color LED bulb. Our NCW with a great performance indicates a high potential for practical application. |
