제목 Syntheses and electroluminescent properties of new light-emitting nanoparticles.
초록 New blue light-emitting nanoparticles based on polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) have been synthesized and their light-emitting properties were characterized. A blue light-emitting building block was introduced to POSS by hydrosilation reaction using a platinum(dvs) catalyst. The synthesized POSS nanoparticles were identified by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and elemental analysis. These nanoparticles were found to have high thermal stability and good solubility in common organic solvents. Spin-coated polymer solution formed smooth and dense thin films. In case of ANP-POSS, the maximum UV-visible absorption and photoluminescence are found to be at 400nm and 464nm respectively. In case of TSF-POSS, the maximum UV-visible absorption and photoluminescence are found to be at 360nm and 421nm respectively. The EL device of ANP-POSS exhibited brightness of 5900cd/m2 and quantum efficiency of 0.8%. The EL device of TSF-POSS exhibited brightness of 2500cd/m2 and quantum efficiency of 1.02%.
