In this work, the lithium-ion battery using CNTs/Fe3O4 composites as anode materials was investigated. Nano-Fe3O4 was deposited by chemical coprecipitation of Fe2+ and Fe3+ in the presence of CNTs in an alkaline solution. The structure and morphological characteristics were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). And the electrochemical properties of the composites as anodes in lithium-ion batteries were evaluated by cyclic voltammetry, AC impedance spectroscopy, and galvanostatic charge/discharge techniques. From the result, it was found that CNTs/Fe3O4 composites showed an initial lithium storage capacity and reversible capacity better than that of commercial graphite anode materials. |
