제목 Intrinsic solid polymer electrolyte: reemerging technology for lithium batteries
초록 More attention should have been paid to safety in lithium batteries as the capacity and power of battery is getting higher. The intrinsic solid polymer electrolyte, a pure solid electrolyte, seems to be one of the promising solutions for battery safety. However, the low conductivity at ambient temperature and the high interfacial resistance are main drawbacks for the practical application. Amorphous poly(ethylene oxide) is known as a promising solid polymer electrolyte with high ionic conductivity, but its mechanical strength becomes poor. In this presentation, recent advances in intrinsic solid polymer electrolytes to increase ionic conductivity along with mechanical properties by means of the tailored synthesis will be discussed.
