제목 Photoluminescence properties of Er3+: PEO+PVP blended polymer composite films for photonic applications
초록 The polymer composite films of PEO+PVP and Er3+ : PEO+PVP have been synthesized by using solution casting method. The amorphous nature of the polymer composites has been observed from XRD analysis. The composition formation and ion polymer interaction analysis were systematically elucidated using Raman spectral measurement. Well defined optical absorption bands  were identified and assigned with appropriate electronic transitions for  Er3+:PEO+PVP polymer films. The major excitation band has been observed at 380 nm from excitation spectrum of Er3+:PEO+PVP polymer film. The prominent green and a moderate red emissions have been obtained at 510 nm and 688 nm which are assigned with electronic transitions (2H11/2→4I15/2) and (3P0→3F3)  respectively form the Er3+:PEO+PVP polymer films under the excitation of 380 nm.  This Er3+ doped polymer film could be suggested as potential material for photonic applications.
