제목 Synthesis of novel liquid crystlline azopolymers and their alkali metal ion detection
초록 Alkali metal cations such as lithium, sodium, and potassium play an important role in secondary battery and biological metabolism. The simple detection and easy control of such alkali metal cations are required to be applicable to the field of cutting-edge industry. Here, we report newly designed liquid crystalline azopolymers with different length of ethyleneoxy spacer and their optical behaviors. The azopolymers showed smectic structures within the range of liquid crystalline phase transition temperature. UV-Vis spectroscopic data confirmed that they also displayed a selective detection behavior for lithium and sodium cations.
