제목 Charge Transport and Its Effects on Efficiency in Organic Solar Cells
초록 Photocurrent generation in organic bulk-heterojunction solar cells is determined by several physical processes that take place in turn. In this talk we demonstrate photocurrent transient in P3HT:F8TBT blend solar cells in response of a 100 microsecond square light pulse to reveal the mechanism of charge transport. The experimental photocurrent transients are characterized by a fast rise, a slow rise, a fast decay and a long-lived tail under weak illumination. At high light intensity photocurrent was observed to peak at a early time and reduce to a steady-state value. In order to obtain a full understanding of this data, we ulitized a time-dependent drift-diffusion model.  We found that electrons are slowly trapped and detrapped and cause significant space-charge effects, reducing the device efficiency.
