제목 Effects of Crack Resistance Properties of Ozone-treated Carbon Fibers-Reinforced Nylon6 Matrix Composites
초록 In this work, the influence of ozone treatments on crack resistance properties of carbon fibers-reinforced nylon6 matrix composites were investigated. The surface properties of ozone treated carbon fibers were studied by FT-IR, XPS, SEM, and contact angle measurement. Crack resistance properties of the composites were investigated using critical stress intensity factor (KIC) and critical energy release rate (GIC). As a result, the KIC and GIC of the ozone-treated carbon fibers reinforced composites showed higher values than those of as-received carbon fibers-reinforced composites.
