제목 Mechanical and Morphology Properties of Silane Treated γ-alumina/Epoxy Composites
초록 In this work, γ-alumina was used as a filler of epoxy resin to enhance mechanical properties of epoxy composites. The alumina particles were treated with silane coupling agent to improve the dispersion forces in epoxy resin. The effects of silane treated γ-alumina particles on mechanical and morphology properties of the epoxy/γ-alumina composites were investigated. The presence of methacryloxy type silane on γ-alumina particles were studied by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). And then, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) was used to observe the morphology properties of γ-alumina/epoxy composites. Also, the critical stress intensity factor (KIC) of epoxy composites was measured by universal testing machine(UTM).
