제목 Oxidation Behaviors of Carbon/Carbon Composites with Novolak Type Phenolic Resins
초록 In this work, the phenolic resins used as a precursor of carbonized matrix for carbon/carbon composites (C/C composites) was modified by addition of novolak type phenolic resin in various concentrations of 0, 2, 6, and 10 wt.% by weight to improve the anti-oxidation properties of the C/C composites. the oxidation behavior of C/C composites made with novolak type phenolic resin as an oxidation inhibitor in flowing air has been studied in the temperature of range of 600-1000℃. The mechanical properties of the C/C composites were studied in interlaminar shear stress (ILSS) and critical stress intensity factor (KIC).
