A novel two-dimensional material of layered transition metal carbides, nitrides, or carbonitrides is referred to as MXene and has received a lot of attention due to its electrical, thermal, and mechanical advantages. Control of the rheological properties and dispersion stability of MXene is critical for the development of various solution processing and manufacturing process. In this work, we explore the rheological properties and dispersion stability of various MXene-polymer composites with different interactions that are originated from the MXene’s abundant negative surface functional groups. Depending on the interaction between MXene and polymers, different rheological evolutions over time are observed. It is expected that our result can provide potential guide for the fine tuning of rheological property and dispersion stability of MXene solution. |
