In this study, we try to concentrate Hepatitis C virus (HCV) with the filter process showing high efficiency. We fabricated the hierarchically self-assembled nanoporous membrane by stepwise anodization via different anodizing conditions. The enrichment efficiency of HCV from the general centrifugation process is about 20 %. On the other hand, that from the filter process reached over than 90 %. This high efficiency results from the perfect filtration with no leakage and no damage during concentration process. Therefore, this membrane might be a powerful tool to research new or some viruses that is difficult to cultivation. |
