GAMA ATRP using the hygroscopic iron (III) metal complex |

The application of GAMA ATRP (generation of activators via monomer addition ATRP) is extended to make ATRP more convenient at the industrial scale by the usage of hygroscopic metal. In this, MMA was polymerized using hygroscopic metal after keeping 2days and 4days in the free environment with Phosphorous ligand (DPPP) to form well defined polymer with low polydispersity (PDI ＜ 1.5). We find polymer were formed We can easily predict how long we can keep the metal and complex in the free environment and what the changes can be observed using hygroscopic metal compound and ligand. |
