제목 Synthesis and Optical Properties of Germanium-Containg Poly(p-phenylenevinylene) Derivatives.
초록 We report here on Ge-containing poly(p-phenylenevinylene) derivatives synthesized by wittig polycondensation reaction. The Germanium on the poly(p-phenylenevinylene)-main chain prepared from dimethylgermanium dichloride controls the conjugation length of poly(p-phenylenevinylene). The structures of synthesized polymers were assigned by NMR and FT-iR spectroscopy. The thermal properties of polymers were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis, and their molecular weights were measured by gel permeation chromatography. Optical properties of the synthesized polymers were characterized by UV/vis absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The films of prepared Ge-containing polymers emitted greenish-blue and blue colors. Detailed synthetic routes, polymer characterization, optical properties of Ge-containing PPV derivatives will be presented.
