Photovoltaic Properties of Inverted Solar Cells Using Self-Assembled Monolayers Modified ZnO |

One of the most important factors to improve power conversion efficiency (PCE) of polymer solar cells is morphology of active layer. To improve morphology, we fabricated inverted solar cells using the self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) modified ZnO. The ZnO can be easily turned by modifying their surface and be coated by the Sol-Gel process. We modified characteristics of ZnO surface by carrying out SAM treatments using benzoic acid or benzoyl chloride derivatives. The work function of ITO as cathode is changed by using the SAM modified ZnO with a dipole moment. Also we fabricated inverted solar cell using the SAM modified ZnO as electron transporting layer. We will propose surface energy, morphology and device properties of modified ZnO. |
