Epoxy resins are widely used for coatings, adhesives and advanced materials. Because of their excellent resistance to water, heat, chemicals, and their excellent electrical and mechanical properties. Metal nanowires such as silvernanowires (AgNW) have been employed as conductive fillers. AgNW has the lowest electrical resistivity among single metals, and high thermal conductivity. For these reasons, AgNW has been primarily used as conductive fillers in conductive adhesive materials. However, dispersion of AgNW in epoxy resin is not easy. One of the best ways to uniformly disperse AgNWs in epoxy resin is to functionalize the surface AgNW with organic surfactants, such as thiol compounds. In this study, to improve the electrical and thermal properties of Epoxy resin/AgNW nanocomposites of surface of AgNW surface was modified by L-systeine. Effects on the dispersion of nanocomposites with AgNWs at different curing temperature was investigated. |
