제목 Electrical Properties and Morphology of Thermoplastic Polyurethane/Multiwalled Carbon nanotube Nanocomposites
초록 TPU(thermoplastic polyurethane) with high electrical conductivity and bio-compatibility has been used in many applications such as electromagnetic shielding applications and neural tissue engineering. Recently, multiwalled carbon nanotube(MWCNT) with high electrical and mechanical characteristics has been employed in various polymer nanocomposites. In this study, TPU/MWCNT nanocomposites were prepared by melt mixing using twin screw extruder and thermal treatment(annealing and quenching). The volume electrical resistivity and dielectric constant of TPU/MWCNT nanocomposites were measured. From TEM images and DSC thermograms, phase behavior and thermal properties of TPU/MWCNT nanocomposites were obtained and analyzed in connection with electrical conductivity behavior.
