Effect of thermal fluorination on electrochemical properties of multi-walled carbon nanotube |
초록 |
The surface of multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) was thermally fluorinated at various temperatures, and the effect of thermal-fluorination on electrochemical properties of MWCNT was investigated. The specific capacitances of the thermally-fluorinated MWCNT 100 oC increased from 57 to 94 F/g at a current density of 0.2 A/g in comparison to that of untreated MWCNT. This enhancement in capacitance could be attributed to the increased polarization on the thermally fluorinated MWCNT surface; it was caused the increase of affinity between electrode surface and ions of electrolytes. |
