제목 Electrodeposited CuxS1-xelectrode for gas-fed CO2 electrolyzer
초록 The development of COcapture, storage, and utilization technologies for decreasing CO2­concentrations are of great interest. Electrochemical CO2 reduction is one of the promising technologies as it can produce various valuable chemicals such as HCOOH, CO, CH4, CH3OH. In recent studies on copper and its oxide catalyst reported C2+ products were reported. However, its poor selectivity and stability is remaining challenges. To overcome these problems, many studies have conducted the engineering the catalyst size, crystal structure, and oxidation state.

Herein, copper sulfide electrode was prepared by pulse electrodeposition method. The copper sulfide was electrodeposited on microporous layer (MPL)-coated carbon paper (CP). By adjusting the pulse condition, the morphology and composition of catalyst was controlled, and the electrochemical CO2 reduction performance was investigated in gas-fed CO2 electrolyzer.
