제목 Modification of surface properties of Sulfonated poly (arylene ether sulfone) through various degree of sulfonation for PEMFC application
초록 Direct fluorination is well known method for surface modification of polymer. This method leads to drastic modifications of surface properties without changing bulk characteristics of the membranes. The application of this technique on random copolymer matrix has shown improvement of adhesion property between membrane and catalyst layer, and PEM properties as follows; high proton conductivity, high dimensional stability and low methanol permeability.Surface fluorinated SPAES having various degree of sulfonation were prepared. We would verify the surface fluorination mechanism and investigate how surface fluorination effects on surface morphology.
