제목 Properities of polyurethanes based on depolymerized products of polyurethane scraps
초록 Waste Spandex polyurethane was depolymerized with caprolactam at 190 - 200℃ in the presence of titanium(IV) butoxide as catalyst. A series of depolymerized products were obtained by changing the ratio of Spandex polyurethane and caprolactam. A series of polyurethane depolymerized products, and chain extenders were synthesized by prepolymer method. By adding poly(propylene glycol) (PPG) up to 40 wt% of depolymerized products, we could prepare very good polyurethanes for adhesives and coating. Based on the results of thermal analyses, we found that soft segment composed of depolymerize products and PPG did not show phase seperation in the polyurethanes investigated.
