Polymer solar cells (PSCs) have been received a lot of attention due to the fact that there is the potential to fabricate them onto large areas of lightweight flexible substrates by solution processing at a low cost. Recently, research into conjugated polymers containing electron donor-acceptor pairs has become quite active, because such materials exhibit unusual optical, electrical, and electronic properties. This presentation will cover recent progresses of intramolecular donor-acceptor low band-gap polymers and discoveries in the organic photovoltaic devices, and our latest results on the syntheses and characterization of new donor-acceptor low band-gap polymers. |
