The dispersibility of montmorillonite (MMT) has been improved by ion exchange reaction between MMT and the 1, 3-propanesultone and 2-chloro-3’, 4’-dihydroxy acetophenone functional group quaternized poly(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate [(C/S)-q-PDMA]. The zwitterionic structure of [(C/S)-q-PDMA]-to-MMT for interval between the silicate layers of MMT by different ratio (1, 5, 10 wt%) was easy to enlarge and exfoliate the clay layers. The surface was coated by the remained CCDP of [(C/S)-q-PDMA]/MMT was determined by measuring the contact angle with XPS. The antifouling effect of the surface that the [(C/S)-q-PDMA]/MMT were coated was investigated through HeLa cells. The properties such as Oxygen transmission rates and Water vapor transmission rates according to the ratio of (C/S)-q-PDMA and MMT were investigated through the rod coating. |
