The electron beam irradiation technique is effective for the preparation of nanomaterials, having some special advantages: short reaction time, the absence of chemical residue after the reaction, and mass production. However, a large-scale synthesis of uniform nanostructures with well-defined shapes and tunable sizes, using electron beam irradiation, has not yet been reported to our best knowledge. In this study, the one-pot fabrications of silver nanomaterials on substrates are achieved through electron beam irradiation of highly ordered supramolecular structures. The size and shapes of the silver nanostructures can vary, such as those of particles, cubes, and rods, by conditioning the electron beam voltage from 0.3 MeV to 2 MeV, current from 0.05 mA to 5 mA, and/or irradiation time from 5 s to 500 s. The detail results will be given in the meeting. |
