제목 | Process optimization of laurolactam monomer for thermoplastic elastomers |
초록 | Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) are a physical mix of polymer, which consist of materials with both thermoplastic and elastomeric properties. There are six generic classes of commercial TPEs. Among these TPEs, there are increasing the demands of thermoplastic polyamide because of their good thermal stability and excellent chemical and hydrolytic resistance. Accordingly, the needs of the monomer of polyamide, i.e. laurolactam, are increased with high yield and purity of monomer. In this work, the process optimization of laurolactam is studied to obtain pure laurolactam with high yield by using various conditions. And the scope of this work includes the economical point of the laurolactam synthesis. |
