제목 Synthesis of black phosphorus and fabrication of black phosphorus dispersion via ultra-sonication
초록 Though black phosphorus (BP) was invented more than hundred years ago, the processing and application of it are developing recently. BP has synthesized as bulk form, which is not suitable for application, so exfoliation is necessary. The band gap of BP is different based on its types. This study will give some idea about the synthesis of BP from RP and its exfoliation by ultra-sonication. RP was mixed with tin and iodine in a quartz tube and heated in a box furnace at sequential temperature. The ampoule was sealed in Ar atmosphere. After completion the formation of BP, it was collected and preparing for the exfoliation. Ribbonlike BP was taken into a vial and dimethyle sulfoxide solvent was added to it. This vial was placed in a bath sonication for 4 hours with some resting time, providing cooling water bath, as sonication can change the temperature of the solution. After complete sonication, yellow dispersion was obtained, which was centrifuged at different rpm to separate different weighted exfoliated BP flakes. Before and after exfoliation, BP was analyzed by several technique, including FE-SEM, XRD, UV-Vis spectroscopy and others.
