제목 NMR Spectroscopic Investigation of Direct Alcohol Fuel Cells
초록 Understanding fundamental aspects of DAFCs such as the mechanisms of alcohol oxidation and crossover would provide the direction to overcome the challenges. Our in situ NMR studies on DAFCs could follow the methanol oxidation while the reaction intermediates were identified by magic angle spinning NMR experiments on the samples prepared with specially designed DAFCs. Present work demonstrates that 1) in situ NMR studies on real DAFCs can be done and 2) alcohol oxidation reaction mechanism can be studied by the in situ and ex situ NMR techniques.
