제목 Conjugated polyelectrolytes for organic electronic devices
초록 Conjugated polyelectrolytes (CPEs) are a class of materials possessing the π-delocalized backbone of conjugated polymers with pendant ionic functionalities. CPEs can be used as active layers in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), light emitting electrochemical cells (LECs) and organic solar cells (OSCs). More recently these molecules have been employed as electron injection/transport layers between neutral active layers and metal electrodes to enhance charge injection in optoelectronic devices. Additionally the ionic functionalities impart solubility in polar solvents such as water or alcohol, which provides the opportunity for more environmentally friendly processing conditions or facile methods for generating multilayer device structures. In this presentation, various functions of CPE and their interface physics in organic electronic devices will be introduced.
