제목 Hybrid Preheating System of Impreg Wood Fiber Using Microwave Energy
초록 Compreg such as a medium-density fiberboard(MDF) is a wood-based sheet manufactured from Impreg wood fibers by hot pressing through the conductive heating. To improve the productivity and energy efficiency by rapidly selective heating, we need a new hybrid preheating system using microwave energy. However, the technology is not yet well optimized and controlled, due to the not so enough comprehension of the interaction between electromagnetic fields and Imgreg. For this approach, the 2.45GHz microwave preheating was experimentally investigated for an Impreg mat. The increase of incident power density results from decreasing of irradiation time and increasing of heating rate.
