In this work, we have investigated the effects of polymeric electrolyte additives on the photovoltaic characteristics of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). A variety of polymers with different characteristics were tested to enhance both the photovoltage and photocurrent of the cells. In addition, the effect of the polymer additives on the long-term stability of DSSCs has also been investigated. This work was supported by the New & Renewable Energy of the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP) grant funded by the Korea government Ministry of Knowledge Economy (No. 2012301001008A) and also by Basic Science Research Program through the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (No. 2012013811) |
