Recently, research about conductive polymers have attracted much attention because of their potential applications. One of method for preparing conducting polymers is preparation of organic polymer containing metallic nanoparticles. However, formation of organic compound containing metallic nanoparticles with over certain content is challenging task, because, affinity between inorganic substances and organic substances is inherently weak and thus dispersion of metallic nanopartices is limitated in organic polymer. In this work, organic polymer containing copper precursor was prepared by polymerization of methacrylate monomer containing copper ion (MCOD) as a precursor of copper nanoparticles. The copper ion containing polymer was chemically reduced by sodium borohydride solution and analyzed by SEM, TEM, TGA, IR, EDS. |
