제목 Synthesis and Properties of Poly(3,4-dialkoxythiophene) Derivatives Soluble in Organic Solvents
초록 It is well known that PEDOT [poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)] shows high electrical conductivity(ca. 300 S/cm) and high transmittance at visible region. However, there has been a limitation in real application due to its poor processibility. To solve this problem, many researchers have performed to increase the polymer-solvent interaction. In this study, new monomers of 3,4-dialkoxythiophenes with increased hydrophobicity were synthesized by introduction of flexible dialkyl group(carbon 10 to 18). Poly(3,4-dialkoxythiophenes) were synthesized by chemical oxidative polymerization. Physical properties such as solubility, electrical conductivity etc. of poly(3,4-dialkoxythiophenes) will be discussed.
