제목 Effect of Ligand Exchanged CdSe Quantum Dot Interlayer in Inverted Organic Solar Cells
초록 Bulk heterojunction (BHJ) organic solar cells (OSCs) that can be fabricated by solution processing techniques are under intense investigation in many industry because of their cost-effective process comparing with other process like thermal evaporation. Also, inverted structure is mainly in research to develop. In previous research, the improvement of organic solar cell efficiency was reported with application of inorganic quantum dots. Here in, we fabricated Poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (P3HT) : Phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) based inverted organic solar cells with included CdSe quantum dot interlayer on ZnO layer as electron transport layer. To fabricate uniform CdSe layer, SAM treatment was followed before CdSe layer coating. From addition of ligand exchanged CdSe quamtum dot interlayer, FF was increased and the power conversion efficiency improved over 5%.
