제목 Effect of spinning conditions on the diameter of pitch fiber during the melt-spinning
초록 In this study, pitch fibers were spun using isotropic pitch with 245 ℃ of softening point by melt-spinning method in different conditions as winding speed, spinning pressure and temperature. The various diameter of as-spun pitch fibers were observed by FE-SEM (Field emission scanning electron microscope). In this result, the diameter of as-spun pitch fiber was in direct proportion to spinning pressure, and in inverse proportion to winding speed at constant spinning temperature. Finally, thinnest diameter of as-spun pitch fiber were obtained at the condition of 320 ℃, 2 bar, and 1600 rpm (17 m/s) for spinning temperature, pressure, and winding speed, respectively.
