Microporous organic polymers can be defined as materials with pore sizes smaller on average than 2 nm which are comprised of light, non-metallic elements such as C, H, O, N, and B. They have unique properties of large surface areas, low skeleton density, and high chemical stabilities that have applications in gas storage and separation. In this study, we prepared porous polymers based on an imidazole block and modified their structures by post reaction. The structures and properties of the porous polymers were investigated before and after modification. |
