제목 Morphology and antimicrobial properties of poly(vinylalcohol) nanofibers containing silver nanowires
초록 Polymer nanofibers obtained by electrospinning of polymer solution have been attracted due to many advantages such as high surface area-to-volume ratio and high porosity and application in many fields. Recently, the incorporation of nanosilver (nanoparticles and nanowires) into polymer nanofibers has received several attention, because it could enhance some properties for polymer nanofibers such as optical, electronic, catalytic, and antimicrobial properties. This can be used in novel applications such as sensors, catalysts, nanoelectronic devices, etc. This work presents some results on the morphology and antimicrobial of polymer fiber based on poly(vinyl alcohol, PVA) and silver nanowires (AgNW) fabricated by electrospinning from aqueous solution.
