제목 Phase behavior of polymer solution using a modified perturbed hard sphere chain equation of state
초록 A perturbed hard sphere chain equation of state is presented which uses the modified Chiew equation of state for hard sphere chains as the reference term, a van der Waals type perturbation term, and the Sond-Mason method to relate equation of state parameters to the intermolecular potential. We propose a new model for the calculation of phase behavior for the polymer solution based on the perturbed hard sphere chain equation of state. We modified the perturbed hard sphere chain equation of state by introducing Chapman's equation into the bonding term of the reference equation. We excluded some shortcoming by modified form. In the description of compressibility factor for mixtures of hard sphere chains, the proposed model succesfully predicts the phase behavior of polymer solution with several characteristic parameters obtained for each substance.
