Heterogeneous nanorods have gained recent attention for their use applications in developing future optoelectronic devices in nano-sciences due to the significant improvement in unique properties by combining different materials. There have been several efforts on fabricating multicomponent nanostructures, but heterogeneously doped nanorods were not well investigated yet. Herein, we report on the fabrication of nanorods based on charge-transfer complexes, which were successfully prepared by sequential eutectic melting and solidification and selective doping by so called ‘crack-welding” method. With combination of soft-lithography, we also have demonstrated the well-aligned nanorods and the nanorods were selectively doped at the cracks formed. |
