제목 Hyaluronic Acids Attached with Methacrylates and 1, 2-Ditetradecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine and Their Hydrogel Nanoparticles Synthesized via Surfactant-Free Inverse Microemulsion Mechanism
초록 We covalently attach a lipophilic moiety of 1, 2-ditetradecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DMPE) and UV-crosslinkable agents of methacrylic anhydride (MA) or 2-aminoethyl methacrylate (AEMA) to hyaluronic acid (HA), and demonstrate the successful formation of hydrogel nanoparticles via surfactant-free inverse microemulsion mechanism upon UV irradiation. The synthesis of methacrylated HA via ester bond (HA-MA) was performed in aqueous solution and DMPE modification with HA-MA via amide bond (HA-MA-DMPE) were carried out in a solvent mixture of THF, H2O and methanol solvent mixtures. Another HA derivative was prepared by substituting HA with AEMA and DMPE via amide bonds (HA-AEMA-DMPE). The hydrogel nanoparticles were synthesized using emulsification and particles were characterized by FESEM. The HA-MA-DMPE has produced better and uniform spherical hydrogel nanoparticles than HA-AEMA-DMPE upon UV irradiation.
