Characteristic and Synthesize of Macromonomer.1. Effect of Urethane functional groups in Macromonomer |

Bifunctional linear-type vinyl urethane macromonomer(L-VUM) was synthesized and applied to the dispersion polymerization of styrene in enthanol. The structure of L-VUM macromonomer was confirmed by 1H NMR and FT-IR. Macromonomers are fixed Total molecular weight of PEG block and changed number of urethane functional groups. According to using different molecular weight of PEG, added to different amounts of HDI. Particles are successfully polymerized by five types of macromonomer. When the reaction parameter such as different amounts of Urethane functional groups in macromonomers was properly chosen, the particle size could be contolled in a range from 1.5㎛ to 3.5㎛. |
