제목 | Carbon Disulfide-Anchored Melamine-Formaldehyde Microsphere for Pb(II) removal from Wastewater |
초록 | Water contamination due to the use of heavy metals has caught the public eye because of the emissions of hazardous substances to the water environment. Melamine-formaldehyde(MF), which has been widely used as catalyst support, N-doping source, and coating. Duan et al. used MF as an adsorbent for the adsorption of lead ion. In this study, to increase adsorption capacity of lead ion and give the selectivity on the adsorption behavior for heavy metal ions, we anchored carbon disulfide on the melamine-formaldehyde microsphere which was used as an adsorbent for heavy metal removal. After synthesis, carbon disulfide-anchored MF microsphere(CDAMF) was used for heavy metal removal which revealed significant removal efficiency of lead ion and superior selectivity to lead ion. FT-IR, XPS, EA, and EDX were used to verify anchoring carbon disulfide on MF. ICP-OES was used to measure the Pb(II) concentration.
