Effect of Substition of 1α,25-Dihydroxyvitamin D3 onto Calcium Phosphate Thin Film on the Osteoblastic Responses |

Recent investigations in our laboratory revealed that the calcium phosphate thin films are considerably osteoconductive and can be potentially applied as hard tissue substitutes. We incorporated 1α,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 into the CaP thin films and investigated the effect of the vitamin D3 on the osteoblastic responses. According to the SEM observations, the surface morphology of the CaP-vitamin D3 hybrid films were not significantly dependent on the concentration of vitamin D3. The chemical states of elements were analyzed using XPS. |
