Effects of Volume Fluctuations on Nanostructure Formation in Block Copolymers |
| 초록 |
Block copolymers with covantly jointed dissimilar components show phase separation on a nanoscale to reveal thermally stable or metastable nanostructures. We consider how copolymer nanostructures are affected or changed by volume fluctuations through employing an Edwards Gaussian thread approach in connection with a molecular free volume theory. Our continuing quest for this subject yields here some new novel morphologies for selected copolymers. The generality of the present method and other relevant issues are to be discussed. |
