제목 Toughness and Conductive Characteristic of Biobased Epoxy/MWCNT Nanocomposites
초록 In this study, the epoxidized vegetable oils (EVO) were synthesized using soybean oils and castor oils. The effect of MWCNT on toughness and conductive characteristic of Biobased Epoxy/MWCNT nanocomposites was studied. MWCNT were modified using a mixture of concentrated nitric acids (HNO3) and sulphuric acids (H2SO4) in a ratio of 1:3 to improve its interfacial adhesion to EVO/epoxy matrix. The toughness of the nanocomposites was investigated through the critical stress intensity factor (KIC) measurement. Electric resistance of the nanocomposites was tested using a 4-point-probe electric resistivity tester.
