제목 A Study on the Thermal Conductivity and Fracture Toughness of Ni-plated MWNTs/Al2O3/epoxy Composites
초록 In this study, the effect of Ni-plated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) on thermal conductivity and mechanical properties of MWNTs/Al2O3/epoxy composites was investigated. The fracture toughness of the composites was carried out through the critical stress intensity factor (KIC) measurement. Thermal conductivity and fracture toughness of the Ni-MWNTs-contained composites were greater than those of non-treated ones. These results were probably due to the improvement of intermolecular interaction between the Ni-MWNTs and the matrix resins.
