An electrospinning has been recognized as an efficient technique for the fabrication of polymer nanofibers. An electrospinning is feeding the polymer solution through a nozzle, on electromagnetic fields by sanctioning a high voltage at nozzle and collector. From the process, it can get sub-micron diameter by dispersing the polymer solution. In this work, the electrospun polymer was Nylon 6. The solvents used formic acid and m-cresol. The electrospinning was carried out at room temperature. The range of sanction voltage was 1.0-2.5 kV/cm and the diameter of nozzle was 0.42 mm. To collect fibers prepared by a traditional electrospinning process, fibers were accumulated in the rotatory collectors and were taken in. Also, fibers formed between spinning nozzle and collector were hauled. |
