Conducting polymers have attracted considerable attention due to their unique properties and many applications such as sensors, energy storage, electronic devices. Among these polymers, polyanline(PANI) has a great potential owing to its electrical and optoelectrical properties, ease of preparation and excellent environment stability. However, the nanoscale patterning of PANI without compromising its own properties is not easy work due to poor processibility. In this work, we have used the self-assembly of block copolymers and colloidal particles as a template to fabricate PANI nanostructures via electroless polymerization. This method involves a spontaneous electrochemical reaction on a platinum(Pt) surface as catalyst. Consequently, PANI nanostructures can be fabricated along the patterned Pt that has been fabricated by block copolymer films and colloidal crystal in combination with O2 plasma and sputtering. |
