제목 Magnetic nano-particles for hepatocyte separation
초록 To separate the parenchymal liver cell (hepatocyte) from a digested liver cell mixture by applying magnetic field, magnetic iron oxide nano-particles were prepared by titrating ferrous and ferric ions with ammonium hydroxide. About 100 nm-sized iron oxide particles were obtained. Also, the surface of the particles was modified by adsorption of carboxymethyl chitosan (CMC), and lactobionic acid (LA) was coupled to amine residue of CMC. Surface modification of the particles has been identified by FT-IR and colorization by HRP-enzyme reaction. The preparation of magnetic particles was applied to model system containing HepG2 and fibroblast cells.
