The effect of herbal honey on antibacterial activity was examined to the development of novel medicine for atopic dermatitis treatment. The sugar compositions of the herbal honey were investigated by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The antibacterial and the antifungal activities of herbal honey were evaluated against various bacteria and fungi. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) was examined various concentration against bacteria and fungi. The MIC showed that its values against the bacteria. Based on these results, it is possible to introduction of herbal honey into biomedical fields such as atopic dermatitis treatment. |
