제목 Solvothermal synthesis and characterization of molybdenum incorporated UiO-66
초록 Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are relatively new porous materials that possess great potential for catalysts, catalyst supports, adsorbents and membranes. Especially zirconium based MOFs attracted great attention because of their exceptional thermal and mechanical stability. UiO-66 is a subfamily of zirconium-based MOFs. It has over 1000 m2/g surface area and 6Å unimodal pore size. Conventional impregnation method has been used for doping metal catalyst on porous support. However, this impregnation method causes agglomeration of metal dopants or segregation from support materials, resulting in reduction of catalyst performance. In this study, we synthesized Mo/UiO-66 particles by solvothermal method. Molybdenum species were uniformly distributed in the lattice of UiO-66 structures. The morphology of Mo/UiO-66 particles and MO distribution in the particles were examined by FE-SEM and EDX, respectively.
